The 2×4 Basics^® family of products was acquired by Hopkins^® in April 2012. This line of products helps consumers build sturdy, durable, customized storage and organization solutions and lawn and garden furniture. Hopkins^® continues to uphold the high standards in quality that do-it-yourselfers have come to expect and value from 2×4 Basics^® products.

All 2×4 Basics^® products are made exclusively in the U.S.A., molded in-house. We use only the highest quality structural resin for our brackets and heavy-gauge steel for our shed kits. Top to bottom quality control and testing takes place as the products are meticulously built to ensure your kit will not only be quick and easy to build, but will also last the test of time. These highly engineered products have the consumer in mind, making it easy by eliminating miters or angles―only straight cuts are needed. The brackets also have pre-drilled holes to make sure your boards line up every time eliminating guess work. To simplify it even further, only 2×4 lumber is needed for most projects and you can customize your projects to any length, up to 8ft.
